Captain Boomerang

George "Digger" Harkness, best known under his alias Captain Boomerang or just Boomerang, is a fictional supervillain who appears in American comic books published by DC Comics. He is an enemy of both Barry Allen and Wally West, who each hold the heroic mantle of the Flash. After Harkness is killed during the 2004 crossover ''Identity Crisis,'' his son, Owen Mercer (also known as Owen Harkness), takes over his father's mantle for a period of time until his death. Following the event of ''Blackest Night,'' Harkness returns to life and returns as Captain Boomerang.

Digger Harkness first appears in ''The Flash'' and was created by John Broome and Carmine Infantino.
Owen Mercer first appeared in ''Identity Crisis'' #2 (2004) and was created by Brat Meltzer and Rags Morales.
